The European Capital of Culture year is here. 2018 is going to be the biggest year yet for Valletta. The capital official opening is going to take place from the 14th to the 21st January so visiting the capital is a must. The traditional Maltese Festa will kick off the official opening, bringing excitement to the capital’s streets.
The cultural programme will commence in our capital city and move to towns and villages around the Maltese Islands. The opening week will attract tourists and locals to Valletta to experience cultural events, music, entertainment, and more. Events and exhibitions will also be happening throughout the week. This will be an impeccable time to explore Valletta in all its glory.
Erba’ Pjazez (Four Squares) will be hosting original spectacles, every hour at various locations including Triton Square, St George’s Square, St John’s Square and Castille Square.
